| One drowns, two injured three houses damaged in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Srinagar Aug 3 A labourer was drowned while two doctors were injured and three houses damaged in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today. They said a labourer, Ghulam Qadir Khan, was working in the forest when he slipped and fell into Nallah Sukhnag at Ring Zabal in the central Kashmir district of Badgam. Efforts are on to fish out the body, they said. Two doctors, Dr Mohammad Afzal and Dr Mohammad Yousuf Wani were injrued when a vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and dashed with a tree near Donipora Green tunnel on the national highway. The injured were hospitalised, they said. In another incident tree was uprooted due to fast wind and heavy rain and fell on the house of one Ghulam Mohammad Mir at Dardpora, Lolab, in the frontier district of Kupwara. Another house of Shabir Ahmad was also damaged due to fast wind. The house of one Ghulam Nabi was damaged in a fire incident at Ziarat Batmaloo. The cause of the fire was not known, they said.
