PDP wants probe in Srinagar sex scam

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party, Rajouri unit held its meeting under the chairmanship of Munshi Alam Din, senior vice president District Rajouri, today and criticized the state government for engineering attacks on the party offices across the state which was promptly retaliated by PDP cadre.
Besides Munshi Aslman Din other senior leaders namely Manzoor Hussain Shah, Tazeem Dar, Nasrullah Mirza, Jagat Ram speaking in this meeting slung criticism at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for unfolding “conditional resignation drama” in the state assembly over his involvement in the infamous sex scandal and its subsequent rejection by the governor said that had the Chief Minister been so honest in his deeds and actions he would not have attached any condition to his resignation. They further said that the role of speaker in the J&K Assembly is also unbecoming of the esteem chair and needs to be looked into.
Senior PDP leaders of the Rajouri District also condemned the role of National Conference leadership for maligning the image of PDP for fooling innocent masses and alleged that ruling coalition for hushing up Shopian issue and overlooking increasing Human rights violations during its ongoing regime.
PDP leaders in a memorandum submitted to Governor through Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Jaipal Singh urging the Governor to reconsider his decision asking CM to continue in his post as it has generated a constitutional debate over the legality of the issue. They also demanded that Infamous sex scandal be probed through a retired judge of Supreme Court to bring back the sanctity of the esteemed house failing which the PDP will be forced to take to streets for justice.
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Zubair Shah, Ghulam Haidar Aatish, Chowdhary Mir Hussain, Master Iqbal Shah, Maqsood Khan, Javed Khan, Ashok Sharma and Ehsan Mirza.
