Jammu, Aug 4: Hailing the rejection of chief minister Omar Abdullah’s resignation by the governor N.N. Vohra members of National Conference (NC) migrant cell in a meeting chaired by Ashok Kaul said a person of high moral standards and integrity like Omar Abdullah can lead the state to prosperity and peace.
He on the occasion urged upon the CM mitigate the problems of Kashmiri migrants who are facing lot of hardship. He also invited CM attention to implement employment package for migrant youths as announced by the prime minister last year. President migrant cell on the occasion said govt should take steps to stop encroachment of migrants land and property in the valley from the encroachers who have illegally occupied them. He said return of Kashmiri pandits to their motherland is very essential and for the purpose migrants of district of Anantnag, Baramulla and Srinagar be rehabilitated.
