| Saroori on extensive tour to Doda reviews work | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Doda, AUGUST 05- Minister for R&B and Mechanical Engineering, Mr. G. M. Saroori, who is on an extensive tour to District Doda was welcomed by the people at Batote warmly. While addressing the people at Kanderi Nallah, the Minister said that the work on Assar-Thanda Pani road has been completed and the road would be commissioned very soon. He directed the concerned agency for speeding up the work on Marhsoo bridge so that the same is completed in a stipulated time frame. He also inspected the pace of work on Ganpat bridge. Mr. Saroori said that Thalella road which has been constructed under NREGA shall be handed over to R&B department, adding that the Chief Engineer has been asked to put up proposal for sanctioning of Sarshi bridge. The Minister also inspected the work on Thathri Bridge and passed instructions for its early completion.
A large gathering present on the occasion put forth various demands which the Minister assured to be looked into.
