| Business proposals getting quick clearance | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Aug 5 : Reiterating the government's support in promoting,
fostering and expanding entrepreneurship in Jammu and Kashmir, the
District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Meraj Ahmad Kakroo
assured the aspiring entrepreneurs of clearing their business ventures
proposals in minutes and not days.
The entrepreneurs do not need to wait for days as their cases of
establishing a unit will be cleared in minutes through single window
system.
No department will be allowed to create hurdles or impediments, Mr
Kakroo told a group of entrepreneurs who had participated in the
Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on Food Processing,
organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development
Institute (JKEDI) and sponsored by Entrepreneurship Development
Institute of India (EDII) and Ministry of Food Processing Industries
(MOFPI).
The DDC was speaking at a function organized to distribute provisional
registration certificates given by District Industries Centre (DIC) to
these entrepreneurs.
He suggested the entrepreneurs to form a small core group to pursue
their goals. If you work together, you will able to overcome the
hardships and red tapism prevalent in the government department, which
discourages the aspiring entrepreneur he said while assuring every
kind of support and cooperation to the entrepreneurs from his behalf.
