| Dishada posted Secy Social Welfare, G N Mir elevated as Secy Higher Education | | |
Srinagar, September 8: The State Cabinet which met here on Thursday with Chief Minister Gh Nabi Azad in Chair ordered minor reshuffle in the upper-middle rungs of state bureaucracy.
Details available indicate that Ab Majid Mir, Director Land Records, was transferred and posted Director Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department(Kashmir) despite stiff opposition by CAPD minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din. Mir, according to sources, was branded an officer of high integrity by all ministers excepting Taj Mohi-ud-Din during the cabinet meeting.
Additional Commissioner Kashmir Ms Dilshada Akhter was transferred and posted Director Social Welfare (Kashmir), while as Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmed, Director Social Welfare Kashmir, was transferred and posted Additional Commissioner Kashmir.
G.N.Mir, Settlement Commissioner, under orders of transferred was posted Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department. |
