| Court frames corruption charges against BOSE employee | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 06- Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu BL Bhat today framed corruption against Arjun Singh, employee of BOSE Jammu, who was caught red-handed by a team of Vigilance Organization on February 15, 2008 while accepting Rs 1500 as bribe from the complainant.
According to Chief Prosecuting Officer Purshtom Sharma, appearing for the VOJ, complainant Sajjan Hussain Shah approached Board of School Education for correction his parentage as Abdul Rashid against of Abdul Kashid and deposited Rs 700 as fee. The application of the complainant was referred to registration section where accused Arjun Singh was working as class IV and demanded Rs 1500 as bribe from the complainant. The bribe money was settled to be paud on February 15, 2008. The complainant approached Vigilance Organization with a written complaint leading registration of a case. A Trap team was constituted and the accused was caught red-handed while accepting bribe money which was recovered from him. A case was registered u/s 5(1) (d) r/w section 5(2) PC Act 2006 and 161 RPC and after completion of the investigation challan was presented in the Court and today Court framed corruption charges. JNF
