Prof Singh demands CBI inquiry in Sahai’s mysterious death

Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP demanded a CBI probe into the most tragic, unfortunate and gruesome assassination of a leading businessman and socialite Ram Sahai on Rakshabandhan day.

In a letter written to Governor of State N N Vohra, the Chairman Prof Bhim Singh said that the circumstances do not let many to accept the police theory of ‘suicide’ and entire story sounds like concocted to cover up the tragic killings. Prof Bhim Singh has written to the Governor on the issue.

Panthers Party has also expressed deep shock on the mysterious killing of a leading businessman and conveyed condolences to the family members of Ram Sahai assuring full sympathies. The working committee prayed for the peace to the departed soul in the heavens.

Meanwhile Prof. Bhim Singh also dissolved the bloc committee of Chassana and (Mahore) with immediate effect and advised the district president Balwan Singh to recommend the new bloc committee within a week.

Prof. Bhim Singh also gave a call to all the units of the Party and its youth, students and trade union wings to put up a massive demonstration on 8th August, 2009 at all district and tehsil levels in Jammu Province in support of the popular demand for Central University in Jammu Pradesh, Delimitation of the Constituencies and dismissal of all tainted ministers without delay. As the Chief Patron of the National Panthers Student Union, Prof. Bhim Singh has dissolved the Jammu Provincial Committee headed by Mohinder Singh Pandu and inducted Suresh Sharma as President of Jammu University and new Provincial Committee shall be constituted within 10 days in consultation with all District Committees of PSUs which stand intact.

Prof. Bhim Singh declared that he shall resort to one day fast in front of the Parliament on 8th August, 2009 to express solidarity with the people of Jammu in their continuous fight for justice and equality.
