Activists of panthers party Kishtwar today held protest demonstration and staged dharna outside Deputy commissioner office demanding action against those police officials who allegedly beat party Secy taking him illegally in police custody late last evening on the direction of congress leader .
According to reports after the torcher of party secy Rehamtullah Gani and his brother
Inatullah by police personnel’s on the direction of a local congress leader party activists in large number headed by District president Anil Parihar today staged dharna on road blocking traffic demanding inquiry into entire incident . Alleging police for brutality upon party Secy he alleged that police cat on the direction of minister whose workers unnecessarily beat a truck driver yesterday near Malipath .
He added that yesterday a congress party flag was torn by a truck accidentally who was on way to kishtwar from Jammu .on this congress workers started beating driver which was resisted by panther leader convincing that it is not done intentionally but occur accidentally. He added that after the incident on the direction of minister police arrest panther District secy and his brother and mercilessly beat him and later released today when his condition deteriorated . He added that party has registered case against erring police personals in CJM court and on the direction of court are conducting medical of party man .He demanded action against police personnel involved in the incident
Meanwhile panther worker lifted dharna only after the intervention of ACR and DYSP who assured them action against police personnel involved in the incident
