| Bhim dissolves existing provincial units of NPSU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 7- Prof. Bhim Singh, founder and Chief Patron of National Panthers Students Union has dissolved the existing provincial units of National Panthers Students Union with immediate effect.
In the meantime, Suresh Sharma, a student of Postgraduate Department in Buddhist Studies in Jammu University, has been appointed as President of Jammu University Committee of National Panthers Students Union with immediate effect. He has been authorized to constitute a committee of 11-members.
According to a handout the provincial committee of NPSUs in Kashmir and Jammu shall be reconstituted before August 15, 2009.
Prof Singh has made it clear that Panthers Students Union activists shall not join hands or associate with any communal or sectarian group or organization at any platform. The Union shall continue their fight for the cause of the students and their interests at all levels with full commitment and dedication. Movement for Central University shall continue in the same way as the Chief Patron carried the movement in 1966 for the creation of Jammu University.
