| Saroori lays foundation of Kahra Bridge | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar Aug 7- Minister for R&B G. M. Saroori today laid foundation of Kahra bridge being constructed at Nallah Kalgoni, besides taking stock of the ongoing work of 16 Kms long Kahra Jai road coming up at a cost of Rs. 21.83 crore.
The minister was informed that 70 percent construction work of the road has been completed besides making 10 kms fair weather road. He asked the engineers to speed up the work and ensure timely completion of all the roads and other projects taken up in the district. He directed the engineers to complete black topping of all the roads by November this year.
Saroori also visited Dundhi and took stock of the construction work of 15 MW Power Project coming up at a cost of Rs. 120 crore. He was informed that most of the work of the project has been completed and the project is likely to be ready by March, 2010. Earlier, the Minister inspected under construction Mini Secretariat Complex at Kishtwar coming up at cost of Rs. 41.70 crores. He was informed that work on conference room has been completed at a cost of Rs. 3.50 crore.
