| Red Cross holds executive secretaries meet | | |

JAMMU, Aug 7: A meeting of the Executive secretaries of district Red Cross Committees of Jammu region was held here at Red Cross Bhawan, Jammu which was presided over by Anil K Padaha, Hony. Secretary, Regional Red Cross, Jammu.
As per the release, the members present in the meeting deliberated upon the plan of action for the next calendar year at each district of Jammu region and brief report was also presented by the representative of each district of their activities and other areas of improvement including the mobilization and realization of Red Cross funds, Padha while addressing the members of all districts laid emphases on firs aid training prgramme for youth red cross and junior red cross to generate and created good volunteers bas by organizing red cross programmes at school and colleges levels, this was conveyed to all districts that the quarterly review meeting of district red cross committees should be held regularly as has been desired the governor (President, of the J&K State Red Cross Society), the matter of Road Safety Programme was also discussed in the meeting and the districts were informed to recomment cases of amputed lower kimbs for free treatment at Prosthetic Centre established by Indian Red Cross Society at Govt. Medicla College, Jammu, the release added.
