| SBI Life Insurance launches online premium payment facility | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 8- SBI Life Insurance, the country’s leading private life insurer, has launched Online payment facility for renewal of premium. The policy holder can now make renewal premium payment on SBI Life’s website, customer self service portal ‘Mypolicy’ or the 16,000 branch network of the State Bank Group. The policy holder can also opt from the wide range of premium payment modes which include electronic clearing services, direct remittance at SBI Life Branch, SBI ATMs, standing instructions on credit cards and Skypark drop box.
M N Rao MD and CEO SBI Life Insurance said ‘we remain committed towards development of technology to provide our valuable customers a convenience-led experience when interacting with us’.
Rao said that as per the latest IRDA report SBI Life ranks first amongst the private life insurance companies in terms of new business premium collections. For the first quarter of the current fiscal the company has earned a net profit of Rs.38.6 crores, he added.
