Bhaderwah, Aug 8: About 400 NCC cadets have just returned after attending a training camp at Bhaderwah.
The camp of ten days duration was organized for NCC cadets from Jammu, Poonch, Akhnoor, Kathua, Ramban and Banihal areas.
The camp was organized by NCC directorate J&K. Brig Anil Gupta Dy DG NCC has intimated that the camp at Bhaderwah was held to provide an opportunity for NCC cadets to visit and do training in the pristine environment of that location.
In addition to the basic physical and military training, NCC cadets carried out awareness drives on “Protection of girl child”, “Empowerment of women” and “Avoiding the use of plastics” at Bhaderwah.
The camp was visited by various senior Army and civil dignitaries who witnessed the NCC cadets participating in various training and co-curricular activities.
