| Inf deptt organizes symposium at Shiv HSS | | | JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 28-Emphasizing upon the imperativeness to uphold the dignity of Teacher- Taught relationship in today’s era, the students Shiv Public School, Sari Rakhwala said that teachers are the role models the most respectable for their students. The students were speaking at a symposium organized by the department of Information, Jammu here this morning. Highlighting the role of teachers in carving their students, the participants said that teachers with the education and principles could channelise the energies of their students into right direction thereby building their career. The students should also understand the meaning of this most sacred relation and make efforts to maintain it at any cost, they added. They apprised the Teacher- Taught relationships highlighted in history and pledged to follow their footsteps. On the occasion, Miss Monika Sandhu of 9th class was adjudged the best whereas Miss Jyoti Kataria of 11th class and Miss Harpreet Kaur of 9th class bagged second and third positions respectively. Consolation prizes were also given to the other participants. The prizes were arranged by the Information. Cultural Wing of the department presented an impressive skit on ‘importance of education’ which was appreciated by all. Students also displayed some colourful cultural items. Principal Mr. C. L. Bhau thanked the Information department for encouraging the students and providing them an opportunity to express their hidden feelings. He suggested for organizing more such programme in future. |
