| 2-day medical camp at Sokar-Gool | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 9- As part of the welfare projects undertaken for the local population under Operation Sadbhavana, a 2- day medical camp was organized by Rashtriya Rifles at village Sokar of Gool Tehsil in Ramban District which was inaugurated by Abdul Aziz Mughal, Sarpanch. The camp also included a host of other activities for the children and youth who attended it, including games and competitions. Over 800 persons including men, women and children were provided free treatment at the camp.
The youth gathered on the occasion were encouraged to participate in various games and competitions that were organized at the camp site. The games included three legged race, sack race and Carrom competitions. The occasion was also utilized by the local village head and other prominent members of the village, who spoke to the people inspiring them to maintain mutual tolerance and extend their whole hearted support to the government and the security forces in their fight against terrorism and maintain normalcy in the region.
