| Popularize programs, policies of ruling alliance, Soz to party leaders | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 9- Asserting that the Congress-NC government is determined to turn a new leaf in the service of the people, the PCC President Saifuddin Soz has called upon the party leaders and workers to reach out to the common masses and redress their problems.
Addressing a largely attended meeting at Humbudroo in Kulgam district today Prof Soz said that the government has launched several measures to ameliorate the lot of the people especially those living in rural and backward areas of the state. He asked the party rank and file to popularize and propagate the policies and programmes of the government at the grass roots level so that the people are made aware about the welfare schemes launched for their socio economic upliftment.
Minister for Technical Education R.S. Chib, MLA Dooru GA Mir, Abdul Majeed Padder Vice President and Anayatullah Rather District President Kulgam also addressed the meeting.
Addressing the gathering Chib assured the people that he and other ministers in the coalition have resolved to sort out the peoples’ problems. He said that he would promote Sports in whole Kashmir and south Kashmir would take a lead.
