Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 9- Demanding setting up of Over Seas Employment Corporation and taking other measures for addressing un-employment problems in Jammu and Kashmir, former legislator Ashok Sharma has emphasized for providing un-employment allowance to the educated un-employed youth as per their academic and professional qualification in view of their economic hardships as socio-economic security. Addressing youth convention at Kalakote today on the fourth and last day of his extensive tour to the area, Sharma expressed concern over acute shortage of drinking water and power supply as also non availability of ration in Rajouri district. He expressed upon the government to improve power supply, press water tankers into service in the water scarcity areas and rush food grains to provide succor to the people. Earlier, a number of deputations of people met Sharma at Ladote, Kalalkas, Potha, Panjah and Saranoo and apprised him of their problems, which he said would be taken up with the concerned authorities for redressal. The problems projected included the issuance of Job cards and employment under NREGA, lAY assistance, issuance of fresh BPL ration cards, Among those who addressed the youth convention included Vijay Kumar BYC President, M.Y Mugal BCC President, S.R. Khajuria, Hav. Amar Nath, Hans Ral Ch. S.M. Din, Ram Lal, Sardari Lal, S. Nirmal Singh, Darbari Lal,Subash Bali, S.K. Sharma, Balwan Kumar, Tilak RaL Ch. Noor Hussain, Sham Lal, Ch. Nazir Ahmed, Jasbir Singh, Rattan Padha and Sethi Parkash.
