| DDC, ADDC inaugurates bore-well, inspects filtration plant | | |
JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 28 - District Development Commissioner Jammu and Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu today inspected ongoing developmental works being executed by PHE Department Jammu.
The DDC and ADDC inaugurated the bore-well at Rama Krishna temple Shakti Nagar Jammu. Besides they inspected Boria Basti filtration plant and directed the concerned executive agencies to expedite the reason of delay of work and ensure its completion by the end of October 2006.
The ADDC Jammu also inspected augmentation and improvement of water supply to migrants camp Muthi, overhead tank at Durga Nagar and water supply scheme at Keran, Superintending Engineer Mechanical who was on the spot assured the inspecting officer that this scheme would be completed by the end of this year.
Keeping in view the damage of filtration plant Sheetali, the inspecting pumping station at company Bhag and directed Superintending Engineer Mechanical and other field functionaries to ensure that public may not face any kind of problem regarding shortage of water in holy month of Ramzan and Navratras. They also inspected bore-well at Women Polytechnic Shakti Nagar. |
