New Delhi Aug 10 : Veteran journalist and former editor of The Statesman D.P. Kumar died of a massive cardiac arrest in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, his family members said.
Popularly known as "Debu" to his friends, Kumar was 79 and is survived by his wife Bindi, two daughters Shalini and Himani and son Siddharth, who is also a journalist working with the German News Agency DPA.
The venue for the last rites was being decided.
