| Nepal Foreign Minister leaves for India | | | Agencies Kathmandu, Aug 10: Nepal Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala today left for New Delhi on the invitation of her Indian counterpart S M Krishna. According to the Foreign Ministry, the visit will focus on strengthening the long running harmonious ties between the two countries along with some major issues like peace process, border issue, conservation of Bagmati River and Koshi Barrage. During her five-day stay in India Ms Koirala will meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Ms Koirala will also prepare foundation for Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal's visit to India from August 18. This is her maiden visit to India after becoming Foreign Minister in June.
