| ‘Latest technological methods key to successful entrepreneurship’ | | | JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 28-A one-day workshop on Product Development Design Intervention and Package (PRODIP) organized by J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board in collaboration with KVIC at Polytechnic College for boys was inaugurated here today by Minister of State for Industries & Commerce, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Dr Romesh Chander Sharma and Minister of State for Technical and Higher Education Mr Ajaz Ahmed Khan was the guest of honour. A healthy interaction between the rural beneficiaries and the experts was held during the workshop. Dr Sharma exhorted upon the rural artisans and unemployed to strive for rural industrialization to spur the income generation among the youth. He said that if a society, especially in remote areas, is to develop, both men and women have to contribute their bit. He said that this workshop can be of immense help to the entrepreneurs of small scale and proclaimed that the products with lustrous packaging and designing can even compete with the branded products. He said that need is to switch over to the new technology to produce quality products to complete in the global market. |
