| Issues raised in House would be looked into: Government | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, August 10-Minister for Health, Mr. Sham Lal Sharma today assured in the Legislative Council that the issues regarding Health, Education, Agriculture etc. raised in the House would be looked into by the government. While responding to issues raised during Zero Hour in the Upper House, he said that adequate and appropriate measures have been put in place by the government at all airports of the state to prevent the entry of Swine flu into the State. Earlier, several members raised issues of public importance in the Legislative Council. Mr. Mohammad Rashid Qureshi sought the regularization of SSA volunteers in Education department. Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Khatana raised the issue of preventing nomads entering the pastures of Ladakh region. Mr. Ravinder Sharma took up the issue of fertilizer shortage and non-availability of quality seeds in Rajouri district. Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Taing, Mr. Altaf Ahmad Wani, Syed Rafiq Shah and Mr. Showkat Hussain raised the issues of health care infrastructure in Shopian, Seer Hamadan, Trehgam and South Kashmir areas. Mr. Murtaza Ahmad Khan sought regularization of adhoc and contractual employees. Mr. Narboo Gialchan sought restructuring of power tariff in Ladakh region. Mr. Javid Ahmad Rana, Mr. Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy and Mr. Jahangir Hussain Mir raised the issue of setting up of Central University in the state. Mr. Ajat Shatru Singh demanded for taking more measures at Airports, Railway stations for preventing the entry of Swine flu into the state. Mr. Bashir Ahmad Magray raised the issue of unauthorized brick kilns in Pulwama district. Mr. Ghulam Qadir Pardesi raised the issue of posting of trained staff in the hospitals of the state.
