| Niaz calls on Omar demands arrangements for Kailash Yatra. | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Aug 11- Former Minister and sitting MLA Mohammad Sharief Niaz today called on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and discussed with him various issued being faced by the inhabitants of far flung areas of erstwhile Doda District.
Niaz also demanded foolproof security arrangements, medical facilities and availability of other essential items for the devotees participating in Kailash Yatra commencing from August 17, 2009.
The Chief Minister is reported to have given on the spot instructions to the district administration for providing all facilities to the pilgrims during the Yatra period.
Niaz has also sought elaborate arrangements for ensuing Mela Pat Bhaderwah commencing from September 7.
