533 Teachers, 80 Masters, 51 Lecturers, 253 ReTs in Kishtwar

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 11 –There are 533 teachers, 80 masters, 51 lecturers and 253 RETs posted in various educational institutions of Kishtwar constituency.

This was stated by the Minister for Education, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed while replying to Calling Attention Motion of Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kichloo in Legislative Assembly today.

The Minister said that the shortage of lecturers in the Higher Secondary Schools has been made up by engaging Post graduate candidates in relevant subjects for academic arrangements. Against the 69 vacancies of lecturers, 81 candidates have been engaged on need basis to provide subject teacher.

He said the posts of Masters are being filed up shortly by conducting departmental Promotion Committee meeting. Against the 77 vacancies of teachers, 49 vacancies of teachers belonging to District Kishtwar have already been referred to Service Selection Board for selection of suitable candidates.
