| Power, Water, Ration issues dominate Zero Hour | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, AUGUST 11 –Legislators today raised several issues of public importance in the Legislative Assembly demanding immediate attention of the government thereon. Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Jan demanded commissioning of Pandichati Power Station in Poonch district. Professor Chaman Lal Gupta demanded carriage of CA&PD ration by SRTC trucks. No contract should be given to any private company, he added. Mr. Sukhnandan put up the same demand. Mir Saifullah demanded adequate compensation to the people and orchardists of Langate and Kupwara whose crops and other property was damaged due to windstorm.
