| Rs. One cr. Released for renovation of 12 G&B hostels : Haji Buland Khan | | |
SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 28 –A prodigious Rs. One crore has been released by the government for renovation and repairs of 12 Gujjar and Bakerwal hostels of 10 districts in Jammu and Kashmir. The amount has been kept at the disposal of the respective District Development Commissioners for effecting necessary repairs to these hostels.
This was stated by Vice Chairman, State Advisory Board for development of Gujjar and Bakerwal Haji Buland Khan while chairing a meeting of the members of the Board here today. He said that 12 hostels of ten districts across the state would be covered. He said that respected Deputy Commissioners have been directed to ensure that the repair work to these hostels is carried out by November this year.
It may be recalled that Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad had sanctioned the money for the purpose in the 13th meeting of the Board held in July this year. |
