| Directorate of environment organizers seminar on plantation | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 12: A seminar on ‘role of plantation in preservation of our environment’ was organized by the directorate of environment in collaboration with galaxy group of college here today. Students of the college who took part in the seminar highlighted the use of plantation which full-fill the day to day needs of human beings such as timber, fuel, medicine etc.
RC Sharma of environmental soil conservation department in his address said that ‘survival of man is dependent upon survival of forest’. He on the occasion gave some useful tips have to identify the medicinal plants which can be put in use of curing different type of diseases.
Students who took part in the seminar were given momentoes.
