| Woman pilgrim dies near Mata Vaishno Devi shrine | | |

Jammu, Aug 13 : A woman pilgrim scaling Trikuta Hills to reach Mata Vaishnodevi's cave shrine died mysteriously near Adh-kuwari, official sources today said.
According to reports, Megna Bhattey, wife of Mohan Bhattey of Motiben Shivaji Nagar, Pune fell unconscious near Adh-kuwari while riding a pony yesterday.
She was immediately shifted to the nearby healthcare centre where doctors pronounced her brought dead. The body of pilgrim after autopsy at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Katra was handed over to her family members for last rites, sources
said.
