| Governor , others leaders greets people on Janamashtami | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, AUG 13: The Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, has greeted the people on the occasion of Janamashtami. In a message of felicitations, the Governor observed that the divine message of Lord Krishna, enshrined in the Shrimad Bhagvad Gita, exhorts mankind to strive for the ultimate truth and to do our duties to the best of our ability without worrying about the fruits thereof. He said that these teachings provide a firm foundation for building an ideal social order. Meanwhile Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Tara Chand has extended greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Janamashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna.
