| Court rejects bail of 3 accused involved in selling spurious Desi Ghee | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 13- The 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu R S Jain today rejected the bail application of three accused involved in selling spurious Desi Ghee. Rejecting the bail applications of the accused Sanjay Kumar, Naresh Gupta and Sumit Sharma, the Judge, after going through the police case and the objections filed by the Additional Public Prosecutor GS Charak, observed that allegations against the petitioners are that they have been apprehended while selling adulterated Desi Ghee on a large scale in various districts of the State. The recovery of large quantity of adulterated Desi Ghee allegedly being sold by the accused persons is pointer to the scale of racket operated by the accused. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, nature and seriousness of accusation against the applicants, the character of evidence, circumstances which are peculiar to the accused and larger interest of the society and state, Court is of the view that no good ground is made out by the petitioners for enlarging them on bail and thus the bail applications are rejected.
