Jammu, Aug 14: Two tourists, who had reached Srinagar from South India recently, tested positive for swine flu even as authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have sent samples of 43 patients for testing of the deadly virus. "The tests of the tourists who had arrived here either from Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh, were positive. But they went back to their native state before their reports reached us", state Health Minister Sham Lal Sharma said today. He said blood samples of both the tourists were collected at the Srinagar airport after they had shown symptoms of swine flu. The samples were sent to National Institute of Communicable Diseases where they tested positive. Sharma said the tourists were isolated immediately and kept in an isolated room in a hotel here under the supervision of our surveillance team.
