| Students’ tour under ‘Operation Sangam’ flagged in | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 15- In an effort to win hearts and minds of civil population of militancy hit Jammu and Kashmir, the 7 Bn RR under ‘Operation Sangam’ organized an educational and motivational tour for 35 children of the state. The tour flagged off on August 3 from Jammu was flagged in today.
During the tour the children visited various heritage and historical places in Chandigarh, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Ajmer. On their return they interacted with Vice President AWWA, Northern Command at Udhampur today and shared their rich experience with her. The Vice President AWWA distributed gifts to all children and expressed that such programs conducted under ‘Operation Sangam’ will go a long way towards enhancing the spirit of national integration and general well being in the region.
