| ASSI election on Oct. 4, straight contest for all six posts | | |
JAMMU SEPT- 28- Consequent upon the expiry of the last date of withdrawal of the
Nomination papers, two candidates each are in the fray for the election to six posts of office bearers for the election to Association of Small Scale Industries (ASSI) Gangyal slated for October 4,2006.
According to a hand out issued by K K Khosa Election Commissioner, Rakesh Gupta of M/S Nirmal Plastic Industry and Rajesh Jain of M/S Vardhman Metals are in the fray for the post of President, while Anil Gupta of Andhar Laboratories and Surinder Gupta of M/S Screws India are in the field for the post of senior Vice President.
Similarly Bansi Lal Gupta of M/s Bee Tee Sports Co and Jugal Kishore of M/S Lakshmi Steel Furniture are seeking election for the post of Vice President and Varindra Jain of Bharat Cosmetics and Tejwant Singh Reen of Glorious Industries are fighting for the post of General Secretary.
Pardeep Vaid of M/s Pardeep Industries and Pankaj Jain of M/s Aagam Food Industries are seeking election against the post of Secretary while Vijay Sharma of M/S N V Enterprises and Sandeep Ohri of M/s Ohrison Plastics are in the fray for the post of Treasurer.
