| Dogri Sanstha releases ‘Daun Rang Daun Raste, Patjha Da Ant’ | | |

Jammu, Aug 17: Two books in Dogri languages ‘Daun Rang, Daun Raste’ and Patjha Da Ant’ written by Surinder Singh Manhas and Usha Kiran respectively were released by Dogri Sanstha here today.
Susheel Begaana, renowned Dogri Poet and Neeru Sharma, editor, Sheeze Hindi presented a critical evolution of the poetry of Manhas contained in book ‘Daun Rang Daun Raste, while Sandeep Dubey, a research scholar of P.G. Department Dogri, university of Jammu read his paper on the literary merit of “Patjhar Da Ant”.
Dr. Pawan Kotwal who was chief guest speaking on the occasion appreciated the literary qualities of the released books and congratulated the authors as well as Dogri Sanstha for having organized such a function. He said it is a matter of pleasure and satisfaction that the Dogri language is making progress day by day. He laid stress that every body should put efforts to further enrich and popularize the Dogri language.
Prof. Lalit Magotra, presidents Dogri Sanstha, welcoming the audience expressed that Sanstha provides the platform to old and new writers for launching their books and is also a forum which provides the opportunities to all writers to come together and present the literary creations, engaged into discussions and chalk out plans and programmes for the development of Dogri language and literature.
