Samba, Aug 18: Maheshwer helping a non-governmental organisation organized ten days plantation drive with the slogan turn “Samba Green and Clean” which started from the Boroe area of Samba city in the middle school Pangdoor by planting two hundreds plants.
Plantation programme was inaugurated by Sourab Bhagat, distt development commissioner, who was the chief guest on this occasion said people should make a habit of planting a plant as plants are necessary for our survival. Speaking on the occasion Mohinder Pratap Singh, the chairman of MHG emphasizing the importance of planting trees, said as pollution is growing day to day due to the urbanization of our society growing as many plants as possible be our utter most thing to do.
Prominent among others who were present and did plantation on the occasion included Parbhat Singh, Dr Ram Singh, Nischant, Prem Nandan, Nilamber, Sub Sagar Singh, Naveen, Digvijay, Bhanu, Adarsh Dogra, Dharamvir Singh etc.
