| Swine Flu | | Isolation Centers alone won’t do | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18- BJP General Secretary Shamsher Singh Manhas has said that by merely setting up of Isolation Centres for the Swine Flu suspects, the State government and its health department cannot escape its responsibility. Addressing media persons here today he alleged that no facility to diagnose the Swine Flu infection in the state has been created. The loud claims of establishing these Isolation Centres is of no consequence and checking of disease, he added. He said the number of Swine Flu positive cases in Jammu has reached to five which is a serious matter and there is dire need for extra surveillance to control this flu. He alleged that the isolation centres sans basic facilities to detect and tackle Swine Flu. The samples collected for tests are being sent out of state and it takes days together for getting the outcome of the tests. He demanded immediate medical care for Swine Flu afflicted persons, besides creating proper awareness among the masses of Jammu and Kashmir so that public in general is not exposed to this deadly disease.
