| Khajuria for renaming Zanana Park as Hari Singh Zanana Park | | |

State BJP General Secretary & Former MLA Ashok Kahjuria today asked the state government t rename the Zanana Park, near Civil Secretariat, Jammu, as Hari Singh Zanan Park. He said the BJP’s demand is based on the fact that this park was officially called Hari Singh Zanana Park not so long ago.
Ashok Khajuria said that the change in the name of Hari Singh Zanana Park to Zanana Park by this government is a calculated move to humiliate the Dogra dynasty, which ruled over the state for over 100 years and handed down to the people of the state an efficient and progressive government. He said the BJP would not tolerate any such move of the government.
Ashok Khajuria said that the Indian nation owes too much to Maharaja Hari Singh, who ensured the defeat of the separatists and fundamentalists and accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India. The need of the hour is t recognize his service to the nation, he said.
