| AICTE sponsored training concludes at BGSB varsity | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 19- A two week long AICTE sponsored Entrepreneurship Development Programme on Computer Hardware Maintenance and Mobile Repairing concluded here today. The program organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, (EDC) BGSB University was first of its kind in the region and was aimed at developing entrepreneurship skills among the local youth of Rajouri and Poonch districts. The trades covered in the program were Computer Hardware Maintenance and Mobile Repairing.
S. D. S. Jamwal interacted with the trainees and distributed certificates among them. In his address Jamwal praised the efforts of EDC for organizing such a program and impressed upon the need of such job oriented courses for socio-economic development of the region in general and unemployed educated youth of theses twin districts in particular. He was in all praises for the university and the department for organizing such a program in this remote area of Jammu and Kashmir.
Prof. (Dr.) Mohammed Asger, Chief Coordinator of EDC highlighted the need and role of such programs in developing entrepreneurship skills of the unemployed educated youth. He also highlighted the role of. Masud A. Choudhary, Vice Chancellor BGSB University for providing the necessary support and guidance in establishing the EDC
