| JMC seal six shops for non payment of rent | | |

JAMMU, Aug 19: To intensify the drive for the recovery of rent from the municipal allottee shops the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) sealed six shops at Purani Mandi for default of non-payment of monthly dues.
As per press release JMC Commissioner has asked the municipal allottes shopkeepers pay the rent in time beside clear the arrears. The tem which sealed the shops were led by chief revenue office Charandeep Singh.
The other team led by Veterinary officer impounded 15 members of stray animals and fine of Rs 1520 as fine was charged from the defaulters. A fine of Rs. 2600 was realized from milk vendors found carrying sub-stranded milk.
