| Group Commandant NCC visited Trikuta Degree College | | |

JAMMU, Aug 19: Group Commandant NCC Col. Alok Singh accompanied by Col. J S Slathia of 2nd J&K Bn boys today visited campus of Trikuta Degree College to inspect the newly opened unit of NCC. The NCC directorate has recently sanctioned two units for the college one for boys and one for girls. During inspection, Col. Singh said that extra ordinary performance of girls cadets of the college in recently concluded CATC Camp at Nagrota compelled him to visit this college. Dr. Gayatri Gupta, Principal of the college, on the occasion informed that Seema Jamwal and Sapna Sharma got selected in TSC (Firinig) and Jammu’s Independence Day parade respectively during the CATC camp held at Nagrota. Dr. Roop Lal Sharma, Chairman of the college applauded the efforts of cadets and emphasized upon adopting a disciplined life to achieve the goals of life.
