| YJD-U criticize functioning of state coalition govt | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 20: Price hike, un-employment and demand of establishing of central university in Jammu were the main issues discussed in the meeting of Yuva Janta Dal (United) workers here today. The YJD-U president Jabar Singh Rissam who chaired the meeting said coalition governments led by Omar Abdullah have failed on all fronts. He said day by day prices of essential items are touching new heights and the government is doing nothing in this regard. General Secretary of the Dal, Amit Gandotra in his address criticized the state govt. for adopting delay tactic of establishment of central university at Jammu and Samba district. He warned that the Andolan will continue till Jammu gets his justice and made it clear that the people of Jammu will not yield and they are fully prepared to launch a long battle against the discrimination over the issue of central university. He appealed the people of Jammu to strengthen the issue of central university as coalitions govt. is committed for equitable development of all the three regions of the state. But they have totally surrendered before the Kashmiri leadership and betrayed the people of Jammu. |
