| Purkhoo migrants stage on dharna | | |

Jammu, Aug 20: A dharna has been launched by the Kashmiri migrants at Purkhoo camp from today. As per press release the demands of the Page 3mPurkhoo migrants stagese the cash relief upto 10,000 per months, keeping in view the hike in prices of essential items. Protestors also demanded that the state government should implement employment package announced by the Prime Minister Dr Man Mohan Singh immediately. They said package needs to be implemented from the camps as people living in the camps belong to below poverty line, beside migrants be rehabilated on permanent basis. Among others who sat on dharna are Ramesh Manhori, Ravi Zutshi, T.K. Dhar, A.K. Pandita and ON Kaw etc. |
