Jammu, Aug 20- Chamber of Commerce & Industry held a meeting with prominent citizens belonging to Muslim Community in which many senior members of Chamber of Commerce & Industry also participated. The meeting was chaired by Om Parkash Gupta, President. Members present highly appreciated the gesture of present team of Chamber in carrying forward the legacy of Ram Sahai who always stood for mutual trust, brotherhood and communal harmony. They recalled Sahai’s earlier efforts in tackling the critical issues by seeking cooperation from all the sections of civil society. It is imperative that the concerned authorities should wake up from the deep slumber and open meaningful result-oriented dialogue with the Samiti leaders for which the gathering offered its full support. The members also appealed to the agitating leaders that since the matter concerns the future of every student so the impression of communal or regional divide should not be allowed to spread, which can be exploited by the persons with vested interests.
