| Striking employees set deadline | | | Early Times Report Jammu , Aug 20 On the second consecutive day of employees’ strike, work remain paralysed across various state government offices and government hospitals. Meanwhile, the leaders of the Joint consultative committee in Jammu on Thursday set deadline for the state government to address their grievances before the closure of durbar move in Srinagar. After organizing peaceful demonstrations outside several state government offices in Jammu for the second consecutive day several senior employees leaders threatened the state government against delaying issuance of government orders before the closure of durbar move offices. "If government failed to resolve issues pending before it before the closure of the durbar move offices we will welcome the state government by intensifying our agitation here in Jammu", leaders of the Joint consultative committee said here in Jammu. Earlier in the day several protest demonstrations were organized by the state government employees outside GMC, Gandhi Nagar hospital, office of the Jammu Municipality corporation, sheep husbandry department, yojna bhawan etc. The JCC leaders also expressed gratitude of the state government employees who participated in the two day long strike and made it a great success.
