Jammu, August 21
Panic gripped in city following broad day light shoot out today. One person received gun shot when two unidentified persons resorted to firing on him and later escaped from the spot leaving the him in a pool of blood. He was rushed to GMC hospital for treatment where doctors confirmed him out of danger. The victim identified as Pardeep Kumar son of Bhim Sen resident of Parade was standing out side his shop situated near Dogra Hall when two unidentified youth fired gun shot towards him. He received shot at his right leg. But police is sensing foul over the matter. According to police the shoot out is preplanned incident. Police has also recovered licensed gun from the victim possession. Police was of view that he received gun shot incidentally from his own revolver and fur the purpose investigation over the matter is on. “The case will be registered after verification”, SDPO City Swantrata Arora informed.
