Jammu, Aug 23-Calling for transformation of India into ‘Vishwa Guru Bharat, RSS Chief Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat on Sunday regretted that ‘We have forgotten that Hindus from J&K to Kaniakumari are one. ‘Let us start from our-self for maintaining unity among the Hindus’, he added and called for unity in diversity and social equality.
Addressing social workers in a function organized by Santan Dharam at Abhinav Theater here today, Bhagwat who was the chief guest said that we have to stand up and maintain social quality and work to transform India into ‘Vishwa Guru Bharat’.
Commenting over Kashmir Pandits in Jammu and Kashmir, the RSS chief assured the Kashmiri Pandits that their pain of exodus is in the heart of all Hindus in India and stressed for unity among Hindus in support of Kashmir Pandits.
He said, “Kashmiri Hindus are not different from other Hindus living in the country. This problem has developed due to this misconception which needs to be sorted out. If our brethren in Kashmir Valley face some problem, it should be the problem of every Hindu and we should come forward for their help”.
Talking about the world order unity with Hinduism enlightening the path of truth to be embraced by all, the RSS Chief warned over the receding borders of the Hindu domain shrinking very fast denying space for the community to survive.
Referring to last year’s Amaranth land agitation, Bhagwat said, “It is unfortunate that nationalists of Jammu were always subjected to discrimination and those who talked about separatism have been appeased in J&K State”. He said that all issues concerning discrimination have their solution in fighting the evil unitedly.
Referring to the controversy over Central University he said like Amarnath land row agitation, the Central University cause too needs an initiation for which the same awakening is needed. ‘As Amarnath land issue last year here has shown an exemplary way of securing the rights, more such issues still remain unresolved that need the same conduct, the RSS Chief said, adding that no system should remain devoid of its rights due to the nonchalant attitude of the governments.
He said that if procurement of Central University is the right of the people here, some mechanism like that of Amarnath issue has to be followed. The entire nation should wake up for the cause’, he assured.
Jammu and Kashmir is an undivided and integral part of the country and since no different definitions of the Hinduism are followed anywhere around, same should be applicable here also, said Mohan Bhagwat and adding, ‘existence of J&K is only with India’.
Brig Suchet Singh, Moti Koul, Paviter Singh Convenor CUAS, Vaid Gahi, Dev Raj Baru and others also shared the dais with Bhagwat while Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, MLA, Ashok Khajuria BJP state president and MLA and members of civil society were also present in the function.
