| 10 RR organizes two medical camps in Doda district | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Aug 24- Under Operation Sadhbavna 10 RR held two medical camps at different villages in the district today. The medical teams comprised of specialists from civil and army which included RMO-RR, Psychologist Dr Zia Shoket Mughal, Dr A Rehman, Eye, Dental & ENT specialists.
Lectures on importance of hygiene and sanitation were also delivered .A large number of patients turned up for medical check up from near by villages, besides Gujjars and Bakerwals from upper reaches. Nearly 1500 patients turned up at both the camps where provided free treatment besides medicines.
The Army also distributed nutrition, health and child care pamphlets to the parents as an awareness campaign. The villagers thanked the Army and the local administration for organizing such camps in these remote areas.
