| Farooq Pahalwan wins Dangal in Siraj area | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Aug 24- A day long Dangal was organized by Khankhote Dangal Committee (KDC) in Siraj area of Doda District in which large number of wrestlers from different parts of the District participated. Naseer Ahmed Khora, a noted Journalist and social activist was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Thousands of people from different parts of Siraj area witnessed the Dangal.
The final bout was played between Farooq Ahmed and Krishan Pahalwan from Sarthal and Khankhote area respectively. Farooq Pahalwan was declared as Rustum-e-Khankhote.
Later on, the Chief Guest distributed prizes among the winner and runner up. It was unanimously decided that in future this Dangal will be named as Siraj Khankhote Dangal which will be organized every year.
