Passing of resolution on CVAHDC in LC widely hailed

DODA, Aug 24- Various political and social organizations from all over Chenab valley comprising Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts have hailed passing of resolution by the State Legislative Council recommending establishing of Chenab Valley Autonomous Hill Development Council (CVAHDC) for Chenab Valley region. The resolution was moved by the NC leader and MLC Khalid Najeeb Suharwardhy.
Doda Development Front President Advocate Chuni Lal has already called a meeting of the front to express formal thank to all the MLCs who supported and voted in favour of the resolution.
Naseer Ahmed Khora, Chairman Forum for Peace while hailing the resolution has said that NC Patron Dr Farooq Abdullah had long before felt the need of HDC.
Various organizations from Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Gool, Ramban and Banihal have appealed the Government to not delay anymore the decision on establishment of CVAHDC. Meanwhile Trade Union leader Mehboob Hassan Kriapak, Shakeel Ahmed Dev and Beopar Mandal President Karamtullah Nehru have also hailed passing of Resolution in the Upper House.
